Shop Floor Supervisor £20K-£30K/annum neg
East Sussex Ref: 1007-4
Our client is a very successful manufacturer of engineering products to the trade over 55 countries worldwide.
They are looking for an experienced shop floor/Factory floor supervisor to look after upto 60 staff on a daily basis.
You must be:
• An excellent people manager
• Must come from a engineering, electronics, manufacturing background
• You must be used to dealing with staff at all levels and the motivation, training and discipline of the same.
• Ideally you will have a lean background, as they work on the principles of lean and you will need to fully understand this process
• Must be used to running manufacturing cells and coping with constantly changing customer demands and deadlines.
• Used to preparing reports, knowledge of excel, MRP and all Microsoft based IT products is desirable
4 days on 3 off with some overtime when required, salary very negotiable for the right person with the right experience

Production Manager £35K-£40K

Our client is a very well established Company - Designing, Manufacture and Installing first class ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING products to various markets.
With two business units and a full order book our client has a new requirement for a Production Manger to report to the Managing Director. This is a key role to take responsibility for the production and delivery of all products making sure they are manufactured and delivered on time and on budget.
You will need to be a proven leader and a strong decision maker with the ability to solve problems and improve processes. A demonstrated Production background and exceptional managerial skills is essential to be able to take on this role.
Our client is dedicated to Lean and Continuous Improvement and the ideal candidate will have experience of these environments although this is not essential.

Packaging Shift Manager £30K-35K plus exc benefits
Eastbourne Ref: 1005-9
Due to expansion our client has the following open position:
Day to Day management across all shifts in the consistent application of the principles of good supervision set out in the Shift Manager job specificaitons.
Core working hours are 40.5 hours per week based on a 4 on, 4 off day shift pattern
A minimum of three years hands on experience in a relevant environment using blister packaging equipment at senior technician or supervisor level.
Educated to A-level standard or equivalent
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages
